AGING AS RENAISSANCE

Aging as Renaissance celebrates aging as personal and community renaissance and acknowledges the freedoms and value shifts of aging. When we enter the Renaissance Years (some call it retirement) we are free to redeem our self worth, recover unselfish values, reclaim our playful spirits, and release wisdom into the world. MODEL YOUR LIFE AFTER THE OAK TREE. IT'S MOST PRODUCTIVE YEARS BEGIN AT AGE 50.

Houston Robertson

WHO IS HOUSTON ROBERTSON?

I am a writer and a storyteller. My memoir collection of personal writing titled Paper Chain Confessions is available at Amazon.com. I have thoughtful, interesting, and sometimes provacative things to say about the human condition. I'm a woman who grew up a perfectly good little girl in the 40s and 50s. However, during post menopausal, post spousal, and post corporate life transitions, I discovered it's more fun to color outside the lines. Before transitioning from the corporate world to my current position as a smart, witty, adorable post-menopausal woman, I provided administrative and human resources services to various employers. I'm a member of the Storytellers Association of California and The Vagabond Players, a group of mature actors who take live theater to older adults, and the recipient of the Advanced Communicator Award from Toastmaster International. Now in my 70s, I've coalesced my love for writing, speaking, and storytelling into a series of presentations called TALKS AND TALES FOR THE RENAISSANCE YEARS. (Some call it retirement.) http://agingasrenaissance.blogspot.com/ I live in the San Francisco Bay Area of California.
